What is WinTap Token?

A credit card number is converted by WinTap into a string of arbitrary characters with no meaning. The token may only be converted back to a valid card number by one party. Furthermore, merchants do not produce tokens. Payment gateways, such as Visa and MasterCard, offer the service of converting card numbers to tokens. Typically, merchants would embed an externally hosted iframe on a checkout page that has boxes for customers to enter credit card information. This iframe’s code is provided by WinTap. Credit card information is sent straight to the provider and does not come into contact with the merchant’s website.

The Binance Smart Chain (BSC) is a blockchain with smart contracts that runs alongside the Binance Chain. Despite the fact that the two chains are completely interoperable, BSC has the infrastructure in place to stay fully functioning even if Binance Chain goes down. WinTap makes use of the Pull Payment Protocol, which converts the peer-to-peer crypto payment system from a push to a pull protocol.
